Lovely house and comfortable beds in a lovely village. Recommend the Lowther pub in the village for food…also the Golf Hotel in Silloth. Keswick close by and well worth a visit. Wildlife park near Keswick excellent. Aquarium in Maryport. Steam train from Ravenglass to Boot well worth a visit. The Gincase is good for children. Cockermouth also nice for a walk around
Only one day of rain. Excellent holiday all in.
Thank you very much.

Such a wonderful holiday. The bungalow is clean, spacious, quiet and has spectacular views. We took the dogs on the beach everyday. Where else can you find an empty beach with views like that in August? We laughed, we relaxed, we became a family again. Thank you!
I hope we can do it again. A very special place!

A very spacious cottage, clean and tidy with stunning views. Both dogs loved the beach everyday. Easy reach of the Lakes and Scotland. In all, a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
The Lowther is dog friendly pub with a warm welcome and great beers.

Excellent week here. Cottage 10/10 -
The views from the cottage are stunning. The info on places to visit helped greatly. The dogs enjoyed the beach just 10 mins away. We saw some some good sunsets, double rainbows and much more.

West Croft is a great base for exploring the Lakes and the local coastline. The bungalow is clean, spacious and homely with a well equipped kitchen. But to us, the sheer peacefulness of the village and pace of life has been just what we needed. A lovely refreshing break. Many thanks Kathleen and family.
Chris & Sue Atkinson-
We have had a overly, relaxing and peaceful time so going home relaxed and chilled. The house is beautiful and has everything you need and is suitable for older people with walking problems. We were made to feel welcome by everyone in the village. So looking forward to coming back next year.
You will get a booking so a big thankyou.

Second visit and lived up to expectations! Love the attantion to detail. On arrival, tea, coffee and biscuits are always a delight. Thoroughly enjoyed the beaches and trips to the Lake District. On the two days of high winds and rain this bungalow was a pleasant hideaway. Thank you from us all.

A lovely stay, comfy beds and space to spread out. Internet good. The area was a place to gain some history and architecture lessons from. Great place for dogs in the living area and the beaches. Shame the “Lowther” up the road didn’t do food any more but we found “Jack’s Surf Bar” -

Our second visit: Christmas week and so most attractions closed, but this wasn’t a problem as this is such a cosy cottage in which to settle down and watch lots of T.V. ! We did venture out a couple of times to the beach, Abbeytown and Carlisle. It’s wonderfully quiet and restful here. Thanks for the the tea and coffee etc. and for the privilege of playing your piano again!
Hope we can return soon.
